It’s Official!

It’s official, http://www.tutortimetalk.com is now live. Anyone and everyone with access to the internet is currently able to view, comment and share my work. I am so proud and so excited! Let me explain why:

The past six months has been one for the books. Literally, this whole medical/political/social pandemic will definitely be written down in a textbook for our grandchildren to read about. Regardless, this time forced me, as I’m sure many of you, to be still for the first time in a long time.

I had nowhere to go and nothing to do, except ponder and reflect… about the government, the rain outside my window, my career, the trip I had to cancel, my hopes and dreams, the meaning of life – you get it 🙂 Therefore, after a long conversation with my cat* and another sleepless night, I made the decision to take a year off from teaching in the classroom and become an entrepreneur.

When schools suddenly closed, parental responsibilities doubled and tripled overnight. As a way to alleviate part of this new stress, I created the company Tutor Time Talk and began offering private tutoring lessons. Referrals started contacting me, but not every family who inquired was able to afford my services.

I felt blessed to be in a position where I could sustain myself financially while doing what I loved. I wanted to give back to the community by providing free online content to those that could not gain access to such information otherwise. Hence I bought and designed this website.

I’m dedicated to providing useful educational information for all, not just my clients. Each week I will post new content for families to utilize, so make sure to subscribe. Also please comment below: Where do you live? How old are your children? What struggles have you been facing most while at home? I plan on directly addressing as many of your concerns as possible.
